The Ubiquiti Fiber Splitter is a passive optical component designed for PON (Passive Optical Network) deployments, allowing a single fiber connection from an OLT (Optical Line Terminal) to be distributed across multiple ONU (Optical Network Unit) endpoints. Ideal for ISPs, WISPs, and network operators deploying UISP fiber infrastructure across residential and commercial properties.
Built with G657A1 fiber and SC/APC connectors, this splitter delivers consistent signal distribution with low insertion loss and high return loss (50 dB). Available in 1:4, 1:8, 1:16, and 1:32 configurations to match network scale, with insertion loss ranging from 7.4 dB to 17.0 dB depending on split ratio. Operating across the 1260–1650 nm wavelength band with -40 to 85°C temperature tolerance, it handles demanding outdoor and indoor installations.
